Istanbul to Cappadocia & Pamukkale Tour
Tour Highlights
You will fly from Istanbul to Cappadocia early in the morning and you will have 2 full days Cappadocia guided tours and a night hotel in Cappadocia. You will continue to Pamukkale with overnight bus and next day early morning arrival to Pamukkale. Your room will be ready for rest and fresh up. You will have time to sleep and rest until tour time. Discover to Pamukkale and Hierapolis Ancient City than the flight back to Istanbul.
Istanbul to Cappadocia & Pamukkale Tour
Day 1: Istanbul – North Of Cappadocia Tour
Meal: Lunch
07:00 am – Fly from Istanbul to Kayseri or Nevsehir airports.

08:20 am – Arrive in Kayseri / Nevsehir Airport.
Met on arrival at the airport, join the group and transfer to Cappadocia. You will meet with the guide and start to the North of Cappadocia Guided Tour. Our first real encounter with Cappadocia almost martian landscape is in the Devrent valley. We visit Pasabag’s “fairy chimneys”, where the voice of the wind harmonizes with songs of the fairies. From here we pause at Avanos center of terracotta art. After lunch, we visit the famous Goreme Open Air Museum to see the best examples of Byzantine art in Cappadocia. We complete the tour with a visit to the Uchisar Rock-Castle, giving you a panoramic view of the valleys of Cappadocia. At the end of the tour, transfer to hotel. Overnight in Cappadocia.
Day 2: South Of Cappadocia Tour & Pamukkale
Meal: Breakfast, Lunch
Breakfast & Check out from the hotel. Depart from your hotel to visit Red valley and explore the famous rock- cut churches and hike 4 km through the Gulludere valley. Then visit Cavusin village. Old Cavusin was abandoned several decades ago due to avalanches. The current village of Cavusin is located on the road. Old Cavusin, with its rock-cut dwellings and stone houses, had several hermitages. The two most important churches in Cavusin are the Great Basilica dedicated to St. John the Baptist (located on the cliff above the village) and Cavusin church or the “Great Pigeon House” commemorating a visit of the famous Cappadocian Emperor Nicephorus Phocas. After lunch drive to the Pigeon Valley. In the afternoon visit Underground City, where early Christians lived in fear and faith. The client name was Enegup. The houses in the village are constructed around the nearly one hundred tunnels of the underground city, which is one of the most interesting underground settlements in Cappadocia. The underground city was originally carved out as eight floors, however, four floors are available to visit. In wartime, about 5000 people can refuge in. The tunnels are still used today as storage areas, stables, and cellars. On the way back visit the natural castles at Ortahisar.
At the end of the Cappadocia tours, transfer to the bus station and overnight bus to Denizli (Pamukkale). The bus journey takes 10 hours.
Day 3: Pamukkale & Hierapolis Tour – Flight to Istanbul
Meal: Breakfast, Lunch
Early morning arrival to Denizli bus station around 05:30 – 06:00 am. Met on arrival and transfer to Pamukkale town. Check into hotel. You will have a room for refresh and sleep until tour departure time.
Breakfast at hotel. You will be picked up from the hotel at 09:45 am and join the group.
We will visit Pamukkale (Hierapolis), one of the most interesting places in the world, justly famous not only for the entrancing beauty of its unique geological formations but also for its historical remains. Hierapolis Ancient City, the Necropolis (cemetery) of Hierapolis which is one of the biggest ancient cemeteries in Anatolia with 1.200 graves, Roman Bath, Domitian Gate, the Main Street, Byzantine Gate.Calcium Terraces, The terraces were formed by running warm spring water, at a temperature of 35 °C / 102 °F containing calcium bicarbonate.
** Swimming in ancient spring pool of Pamukkale is possible with extra charge. If you are planning to swim please bring your swimming suits with you.
At the end of the Pamukkale & Hierapolis ancient city day tour, transfer to Denizli Cardak Airport for Istanbul flight.

Remember to take sunscreen & a hat if you’re not fond of direct sunlight as there is minimal shade available.
Guests must be able to walk approximately 1,5 miles over uneven and cobblestone surfaces.
Comfortable shoes, a hat and plenty of sunscreen are recommended as shade is limited the order of the tour itinerary may vary in order to avoid congestion.
Guests should watch their step at all times in order to avoid injuries.
It is not recommended to visit underground cities for the guests who have asthma and claustrophobia.
If you like to swim in The Ancient Pool which is also called Cleopatra Thermal Pool they charge extra entrance fee.
