Highlights of Tour:
Pick up from Istanbul Cruise port for Byzantine Relics tour and drive to Old City (Sultanahmet). You will start to tour by visiting St. Sophia and continue to Blue Mosque via visiting Ancient Hippodrome. After visiting Byzantine Hippodrome we will visit inside of the Blue Mosque (Visit is not possible on Friday due to quite limited access because of the Friday Prayer), Then walk to Grand Covered Bazaar which is know as Big Bazaar. Tour guide will inform you about the Grand Bazaar and give you time to discover the bazaar. Tour will be ended after visiting Grand Covered Bazaar. Drive back to Istanbul Cruise Port around 13:00 pm.

Brief Information about the sites:
Hagia Sophia : This ancient basilica, built by Constantine the Great, in the 4th century and reconstructed by Justinian in the 6th century, is one of the architectural marvels of all time.

Blue Mosque : It was built in the 17th century by the architect Mehmet just across of Hagia Sophia. It is also known as the BLUE MOSQUE because of its magnificent interior decoration of Blue Iznik Tiles.

Hippodrome : The area where chariot races, civil activities were done, called Ancient Hippodrome. There are four monuments; the GERMAN FOUNTAIN OF WILHELM II, the OBELISK OF THEODOSIUS, the bronze SERPENTINE COLUMN and the COLUMN OF CONSTANTINE in Hippodrome.

Grand Covered Bazaar : There are more than 4,000 shops in this labyrinth of streets and passages. Each trade in Grand Bazaar having its own area such as the goldsmiths’ street, Turkish arts and crafts, hand painted ceramic plates, hand-honed copperware, the carpet sellers, brassware and trays, water ewers, onyx ware and meerschaum pipers.
