Morning Istanbul Jewish Heritage Tour

Tour Highlights :
Pick up from your hotel and start to the private half day morning tour. Visiting Ahrida Synanogue. It was built around 1500s by Romaniotes (Greek Jews),from the city of Ohrid (called ‘Ahrid’ in Greek) in what was then the Ottoman Empire and is now the Republic of Macedonia. At the end of the tour, return back to your hotel.

Pick up from your hotel at 09:00 am with your private guide and car.
Our tour starts with visiting Ahrida Synanogue. It was built around 1500s by Romaniotes (Greek Jews), from the city of Ohrid (called ‘Ahrid’ in Greek) in what was then the Ottoman Empire and is now the Republic of Macedonia. After visiting the museum we drive to the Golden Horn visit the Balat quarter, walking among the old Jewish houses which the star of David can be seen on the facades. Then we will visit Italian Synanogue and Schneider Temple Cultural Center which was an old synanogue previously. The last place in the morning tour is Askenazi Synanogue which is the only active Askenazi Synanogue in Istanbul.
At the end of the tour, you will be transferred back to hotel around 13:00 pm. Private Istanbul Jewish Heritage Tour in the morning ends.
